Emery Fine Games Writing Portfolio

This portfolio contains writing samples that I believe best display my strengths as a writer. The contents are as follows:

1. Montreal Comedy Simulator (A playthrough is about 7 to 8 pages of reading) A piece of interactive fiction with three playable characters. Each character path emphasizes a different one of my skills as a writer for games. Namely, these skills are: Branching dialogue trees, Game state changes based on character choices, and randomized text generation.

2. Item Lore Sketch (4 pages) Short sketch showcasing my skills writing dialogue.

3. The Trickling Boulevard (5 pages) Short prose story showcasing my area description and world building skills.
